Zero-Tracking & Cookieless Philosophy
NaxosData believes that financial data infrastructure should respect user privacy. We do not use third-party marketing trackers, advertising cookies, behavioral fingerprinting scripts, or cross-site tracking pixels.
Client preferences, such as selected theme, active subscription tier, and terminal inspection states, are stored locally on your machine via standard localStorage and are never transmitted to analytics brokers.
Account & Billing Information
When you register for an account or subscribe to a paid tier (Quant Pro $30/mo or Institutional $100/mo), we collect minimal required business contact details: your institutional email, firm name, and primary quantitative use case.
Payment processing is handled via PCI-DSS compliant institutional processors. NaxosData never stores complete credit card numbers or sensitive banking credentials on our infrastructure servers.
API Telemetry & Operational Logs
To enforce subscription rate limits, prevent denial-of-service attacks, and monitor API data transfer and quota consumption, our edge routers log:
- API Key identifier (hashed)
- HTTP method and requested endpoint
- Client IP address and geographic cloud region (for edge routing)
- Response status code and execution latency in milliseconds
These logs are retained for a rolling 14-day window for debugging and security auditing, after which they are permanently expunged.
Data Retention & Right to Erasure
You have the right to request full deletion of your account, API keys, and associated telemetry logs at any time. Upon receiving a written request, all active credentials are instantaneously revoked and database records purged within 48 business hours.
