Terms of Service

Last revised: October 2026 · Version 2.4

01.

Permitted Use and API Access

NaxosData provides Level 2 order book capture, historical tick archives, and quantitative analytics modules. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to access our REST API, WebSocket streams, and Parquet archives in accordance with your subscribed tier specifications (Hobbyist, Quant Pro, or Institutional).

You agree not to bypass rate limits, redistribute raw normalized feeds to unauthorized third parties without an enterprise distribution rider, or reverse-engineer the proprietary canonical pair_id graph.

02.

No Financial or Investment Advice

NaxosData is an independent market data technology provider. Nothing on this website, within our API responses, or inside our historical Parquet archives constitutes financial, investment, legal, tax, or trading advice.

Prediction markets and event contracts carry significant capital risk. All implied probability metrics, slippage calculators, and cross-venue arbitrage calculations are generated for research, testing, and algorithmic execution modeling purposes only.

03.

Historical Data & Timestamp Disclaimer

While NaxosData utilizes dual microsecond timestamping (exchange_ts_ms and ingest_ts_ms) co-located in major cloud infrastructure hubs, network latency, exchange matching engine queue jumps, and upstream WebSocket drops can occur. NaxosData makes no warranties regarding the absolute completeness of unrecorded order mutations during extreme exchange API outages.

04.

Intellectual Property & Exchange Trademarks

Polymarket is a trademark of Blockratize, Inc. Kalshi is a registered trademark of Kalshi Inc. Limitless is a trademark of Limitless Labs. PredictIt is a trademark of Victoria University of Wellington. Drift BET is operated by Drift Protocol. Smarkets is a trademark of Smarkets Limited.

NaxosData is an independent entity and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of these venues. All exchange trademarks are referenced strictly under nominative fair use for market data identification purposes.

05.

API Rate Limits & Automated Scraping

API consumers must respect their allocated requests-per-minute threshold (30 req/min on Hobbyist, 180 req/min on Quant Pro, and 600 req/min on Institutional). Exceeding these limits will result in HTTP 429 Too Many Requests responses. Repeated unauthorized bot scraping of the web portal without an API key will result in automatic IP throttling via edge firewall rules.

06.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall NaxosData or its contributors be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages (including, but not limited to, loss of trading profits, business interruption, or slippage losses) arising in any way out of the use of our market data.
